About Jordan
Jordan J. Tupper is a Baton Rouge-based professional musician with nearly two decades of experience performing, teaching, and leading in music. A vocalist and bass guitarist, Jordan currently performs with three Baton Rouge groups across multiple genres — classic rock, contemporary covers, and jazz.
Recognized as a 2024 Grammy Music Educator Award Quarterfinalist by the Recording Academy, Jordan brings both national recognition and deep local roots to his work. Beyond performing, Jordan brings a background as a former band director and music educator, and serves his community as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge.
Jordan is available for private events, weddings, corporate functions, and venue bookings throughout South Louisiana and the Gulf South.

Cover 6 Band
A versatile Baton Rouge cover band performing a broad mix of crowd-favorite material spanning multiple decades and genres. Available for weddings, private events, and venues throughout the region.
Jim Standley Jazz
A Baton Rouge jazz ensemble led by pianist Jim Standley, performing classic American jazz standards. Jordan rounds out the rhythm section on bass for select engagements.

Jordan's career has spanned music education, performance, and program leadership. As a former band director, he developed instrumental programs and taught students across multiple grade levels. His professional work has also included program management, community engagement, and board service for educational and faith-based organizations.
This blend of artistic and operational experience shapes how he approaches every gig — bringing not only musicianship but also reliability, professionalism, and a clear understanding of what makes an event run smoothly.
